Overview
The printing department was established at Fullerton College in the late 1950's and has continued to provide excellent job training skills for its students over the past 55 years. There are 2 full-time and 4 part-time faculty members that offer instruction in five distinct disciplines:
  • Flexography
  • Large and small sheetfed offset presswork
  • Electronic pre-press
  • Screen printing

Our program has placed many students currently working in the printing industry and tailored to meet the needs of today's technically-oriented marketplace

Printing Technology Department Objectives:
  • Provide students hands-on skills knowledge to allow them the opportunity to be successful employees in the printing industry. To achieve this, we use up-to-date curriculum and classroom materials provided through industry organizations. In addition, students learn hands-on skills with the use of modern equipment and software that has been provided by generous donations from our industry partners.
  • Provide specialized training and retraining of individuals for the printing industry. Many of the students take classes to retrain or update their skills and earn certification.
